If your question is about a specific pub, during your pub visit, it is best to speak to the manager on duty. Alternatively, you can find, in this FAQ section or the one on our app, answers to the most commonly asked questions. We review the list regularly, so let us know if your question is not covered.

In most cases, our head-office team will refer you back to the pub’s manager. If you are in a pub, one of the management team is usually the very best place to start.

The company does not have any social media profiles, including those for individual pubs.
Any profiles promoted on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat are not endorsed or maintained by the company.

When paying at the bar, contactless card payments are encouraged.
We accept the following methods of payment: cash, Wetherspoon gift cards (available in sterling and euro, but cannot be used to pay for our hotels), debit and credit cards (American Express, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa), JCB, Samsung Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Some pubs also accept foreign currency (notes only). We will provide a receipt, on request, at the time of ordering.
Payment on the app may also be made using debit and credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal.
We do not accept cash (including foreign currency) or Wetherspoon gift cards to pay for hotel accommodation.
Wetherspoon gift cards (sterling) may be purchased and redeemed only in the UK and are not redeemable in the Republic of Ireland. Wetherspoon gift cards (euro) may be purchased and redeemed only in the Republic of Ireland and are not redeemable in the UK.
Gift cards can be purchased in any pub. With the exception of large/bulk orders, they are not available to order online or over the phone.
