Welcome
We are a hotel of 29 en suite rooms, based at the top of Minehead town centre, close to the beach and shops. In the rooms, we offer unlimited free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, tea- and coffee-making facilities, iron/ironing board and Freeview TV. We have a chair lift available to the first floor of the hotel for anyone with mobility issues. Also, there is a JDW pub where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast and meals throughout your stay, served 7am–11pm daily. Minehead, twinned with Saint Berthewin in France, is a coastal town lying on the south side of the Bristol Channel and in close proximity to Exmoor National Park. The town offers a variety of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. You can find the South West Coastal Path past the small harbour and a lovely walk up the side of North Hill. Locally, there are course fishing sites and the fantastic steam railway just a few minutes away. Dunster Castle is a popular tourist attraction and Tropiquaria zoo (located at Washford Cross) is only 10 minutes’ drive away. Watchet town is a popular destination with visitors, owing to the recently refurbished harbour and marina, home to the famous Butlins holiday resort.
