Salisbury is a beautiful cathedral city, surrounded by countryside, in Wiltshire. It plays host to Salisbury cathedral – a gothic masterpiece which also boasts the tallest spire in the country. Visitors to the cathedral can also see the best preserved copy of the Magna Carta which has recently celebrated its 800th year anniversary. Stonehenge is also a major attraction for visitors to the city, and is only a short bus or car journey away. Salisbury is also lucky to still have numerous independent shops, as well as various thriving markets which are held on the square – a two-minute walk from the hotel.
